  • Dan Heichelbech, President

    As President of TCM, a wholly owned subsidiary of Southland Industries, Mr. Heichelbech is dedicated to ensuring the continued success of TCM and fulfilling the company’s commitment to serve all clients with integrity, excellence, through use of our Core Values. Overseeing strategic development and growth, he builds collaborative client partnerships focused on providing accountability and insight in order to deliver innovative solutions.

    For the past 22 years, Since day one, Mr. Heichelbech has consistently served as a valuable leader, demonstrating his passion for exceptional customer service standards, constructability problem solving, and innovation in every aspect of our operations. He began his career at TCM as a project engineer in 1997, before successive promotions to project manager, senior project manager, director of operations, and vice president of operations.

    Mr. Heichelbech holds an MBA from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in building construction management from Purdue University. He is a board member of the Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Association, Co-Chair of the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) Cascadia Chapter, Chair of his childrens’ School Advisory Council, and a LEED Accredited Professional BD + C.

  • Kent Grove, Vice President

    As Vice President of TCM, Mr. Grove oversees the business development and client relations efforts for TCM. He is responsible for ensuring all sales goals are met by identifying opportunities through a refined selection process. His focus is to provide customers with an unparalleled level of service in-line with TCM’s core values.

    Mr. Grove has 35 years of experience in project management, program management, and operations management. He began his career in industrial project engineering & management and over the years Mr. Grove has managed the operations, manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance activities in a variety of Construction, Manufacturing and High-Tech applications. Since joining TCM in 2000 Mr. Grove has not only led TCM’s business development efforts but has managed and coordinated the field labor, project management and detailing as well as other miscellaneous operations activities within the company in addition to providing direct Project Management of both large and small construction projects.

    Mr. Grove holds a MBA in Business Administration from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Graduate School of Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Western Illinois University.

  • Karl Fenstermaker, Engineering & Preconstruction

    Karl Fenstermaker is responsible for all aspects related to preconstruction at TCM, including engineering, detailing, estimating activities. Karl’s mission at TCM is to ensure that our clients are consistently provided with holistic solutions for their needs that meet or exceed performance requirements while maintaining budget and schedule goals.

    Since beginning his career in the industry in 2002, Mr. Fenstermaker has been passionate about doing the right thing, thinking ahead, and making every clients’ job easier. His extensive knowledge in semiconductor, mission critical, and industrial facilities assisted in his work on noteworthy projects, such as Facebook PRN3 and Old Trapper Beef Jerky Manufacturing Facility.

    Mr. Fenstermaker received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University. He also serves as an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers.

  • Michelle August, Controller II

    As Controller at TCM, Michelle oversees the finance department and works closely with our operations department. She is responsible for helping drive profitable growth through solid financial management and oversight. She is focused on implementing and managing processes to support customer and subcontractor relationships.

    With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and at TCM, Michelle is passionate about managing through our core values and advancing team ideas that improve processes and provide innovative solutions.   She is a proven leader with an excellent record of meeting or exceeding objectives across a wide range of projects and departments.

    Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Oregon.  She enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, skiing and travelling.

  • Dan Sneeringer, Operations Manager

    As the Operations Manager for TCM, Dan is responsible for ensuring that the overall business operations plan is achieved through strong project team execution and by adhering to our core values.  Dan’s servant leadership style drives the team by confirming that their needs and goals are met to push the overall competency of the team and the company.

    Dan entered the trades in 1989 and quickly rose through the ranks.  As opportunities were presented, he went to school in the evenings to earn a degree so that he was prepared for any advancement that was presented.  With his strong knowledge of the industry, desire for continuous process improvement, strong financial, business, and computer acumen, and his overall passion to mentor and coach others, Dan is poised to continue to push the operations team to higher and higher levels.

    Dan enjoys fishing, playing music with his wife, spending time with his family, weight training, and woodworking.

  • Ryan McShannon, Construction Manager

    As Construction Manager of TCM, Mr. McShannon oversees all field operations, constructability, fabrication, procurement, quality control/quality assurance, and logistics. Ryan’s focus is on the continuous improvement of our operations team and systems while providing accountability of project delivery and being responsible for the execution of project installations.

    For over the past 20 years Mr. McShannon has served as a Leader with a passion for problem solving, pre-planning and building high performing Teams. He has extensive knowledge with installation methodologies in multiple markets including mission critical, commercial, multi-story high-rise, healthcare, and industrial. Ryan has developed strong working relationships with Owners, General Contractors as well as trade contractors. Ryan leads TCM’s community of practice “Lean” Team and is instrumental in the continual coaching and training of our thought leaders within the company.

    Mr. McShannon graduated from the apprenticeship program at Plumbers/Pipefitters UA Local 290 and has additionally served as an officer of the local and an apprenticeship instructor.
